Weight. Just the word, the meaning, the sound it makes as it comes from our lips makes us frustrated, tired, and empty. Perhaps this is the reason why the overwhelming majority of new years resolutions fail by January 15th.
So why listen to me? Simple. Just check out the photos.
How did it I do it? Well, 13 years ago I made a life changing decision and a lot of my daily fatigue, exhaustion, and depression was lifted away. So what did I do? Easy, I decided to eat better. Yeah, yeah, yeah…I know you are thinking, not another inspiring diet story.
Well, how is this to grab your attention and keep it? In 1999 I made the decision to eat better, and yes for me that meant becoming a vegetarian (but that is not what I am going to tell you to do). In one year I lost 60 pounds. Since then I have lost another 45 pounds. And guess what? Not one pound was ever lost by working out, going the gym, swimming, biking, or exercise. I lost over 100 pounds and am still loosing by simply eating right.
Now, don’t get me wrong. We are not going to tell you not to exercise. Only you can determine your path, but our program will share deep insights with you on how diet plays on your emotions, which can cause weight gain.
We have over 20 years of combined clinical experience, but rather than show you a patient’s testimonial or read a review we decided to share my very personal and intimate weight loss story with you here.
Remember weight loss is not a statement you make on January 1st hoping that you will do something this year only to realize that by January 15th you have given up. All of those things fall under the same dreaded word: DIET.
We are not promoting a diet. We promote a lifestyle change. It did not take you one day or even one year to gain that weight. So why do you think it will take you one day to fix your weight? It is unfair to demand that of yourself, and by doing so you set yourself up for failure. You need to stay positive. You need to know we are behind you every step of the way. That we have been on this journey before and that we are still on it today!
